Dear Rukky Sanda,

I know you like to think you are mega fashionable, but in most event photos I’ve seen of you, your style comes across as forced

Case in point this crop top/colour blocking/pastel combo you rocked last week to Genevieve Nnaji‘s 33rd birthday party in Lagos. I know crop tops are on trend now and while we’ve seen them on everyone from Britney Spears (who made them her trademark look in the early 00s) to Rihanna who gives them an edgy modern twist, this trend is certainly not for everyone. You see Rukky this midriff baring trend can be very unforgiving, and if you owned a mirror or had nice friends you would know this.

Rukky the thing about wearing a tight crop top (such as the one you are sporting here) is you run the risk of the dreaded muffin top…which is exactly what we can see occurring in your midsection…Not a good look. Next time Miss Sanda choose a loose fitting crop top, they are way more flattering and more forgiving. Or rock it with a high waisted skirt or pants.

Fashion should flatter not detract and this detracts from your overall look.

Wizzy is definitely on his money game this year. He has just signed a multi million naira endorsement deal with Pepsi.

A reliable source gave me exclusive details about Wizkid‘s new endorsement deal with the soft drinks giant, the deal is said to be worth about between 350,000 US dollars. The pint sized singer joins Tiwa Savage as ambassadors for brand in Nigeria. Tiwa kinda confirmed rumours of her Pepsi deal in an interview with Toolz which I posted yesterday.

The print campaign has already been shot and Wizkid will be making his way to Lebanon in the coming weeks to shoot the TV Promo for the drinks giant.

Hey lovvies check out Naija pop princess Tiwa Savage chatting it up with popular OAP Toolz for web series The Juice which is on Ndanitv.com. In it she addresses a number of topics ranging from her new album, her rumoured Pepsi deal and her recent signing to Don Jazzy’s new label Mavin Records.

What i found interesting about the interview…Tiwa admitting that she has toned down her overly sexy fashion (which I had absolutely no problem with by the way) considerably. Now on red carpets and appearances she looks a lot more demure, the singer says she initially was baring a lot of skin because she just moved back to Naija from LA where everyone walks around half naked and she didn’t see anything wrong with that, seeing as that is what she was used. So following numerous complaints from the public and recognizing she is now a role model to young girls she decided to tone down the sexy to adapt to the Nigerian environment. I still think it was a marketing ploy by her management but wetin consine me?

She also tells us that her debut album is nearly done and should be released this year..about time as well

I have never seen D’Banj tweet as much as he did this week, he has been on his promo grind ALL week, promoting the UK remix of Oliver Twist and so far the hard work has paid off with the single climbing to the top of the UK Pre Release Urban and Dance Chart, beating out Usher, Cheryl Cole & The Wanted

It has been a successful week for both of the ex Mo Hits henchmen, with Don Jazzy introducing us to his new label Mavin Records and releasing a compilation album with his artistes which is currently blowing up every radio station, mp3 player and car stereo.

Ooh the ratcheness that was last night’s fight between Big Brother Stargame Upville contestants Tanzanian Mampi and Ghanian DKB, which went down just before last night’s eviction show that saw Teclar, Julio & Hilda evicted.

The two who were bosom buddies just last week almost started trading blows after Mampi called DKB a snake and said something about his mother, that was all DKB needed to hear before launching into a 30 minute tirade calling her everything from a bitch to a muthaf**ker and every other curse word you can think of in between.

He even went on to say that his d*&k is 7.1 inches long (really?!?) and that he would get her pregnant in 30 seconds…DKB tell me what that has to do with anything? Or just admit you wanna have sex with her and let’s be done with it.

He even dragged her 26inch Brazillian weave into it…Oh no he didn’t! You don’t EVER say anything bad about a black woman’s hair, you are just looking for trouble with that.

She shouldn’t have gone there with his mother. But still what kind of man speaks to a woman in such a disrespectful and derogatory manner. I know African men don’t have much respect for women but coming on TV and cursing a woman out in front of millions just shows you are a low down pig!

What would he have done next? slapped her? All in the name of anger?

This picture was taken last night in Lagos, just after Malika Haqq, best friend of reality star Khloe Kardashian, and frequent cast member on Keeping Up With the Kardashians & Khloe & Lamar on E! touched down in Lagos. No word yet on why the reality tv star/actress is in Lagos, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.

If her tweets from last night are any indication she’s already having a ball in Lagos, hanging out with the P-Square crew and their brother Jude “Engees” Okoye.

Lynxxx is back as he debuts the first single off his forthcoming sophomore album Jollof Music. The track titled Fine Lady features EME’s Wizkid and is the ultimate party banger! Last time these two were on a track together was on the track Good Lurving off Lynxxx’s first album and its safe to say the musical chemistry between these two is genius. Rihanna is the new face of Vita Coco Coconut Water. And for the campaign shoot she struck a number of uber sexy poses in a white t-shirt and cut off shorts. Wow! What can I say? This chick is just too hot for her own good #NOHOMO but mehn….

Granted this campaign is gonna get those bottles of water selling like hot boli!

It appears that Munachii broke under the pressure from the public who expressed their outrage on various social media platform and blogs at her rude behaviour towards hip hop veteran Modenine at The Nokia Don’t Break a Beat Competition a few days back.

The occasion was rapper Meek Mill’s 25th birthday party…The date: 2nd of May. The venue: Diamonds of Atlanta, an upscale gentleman’s club…translation strip club, so lots of lap dances and naked chicks…oshey!

D’Banj and Davido hit up the strip club in Atlanta last Tuesday to party with MMG’s Meek Mill, DJ Drama & half naked big booty girls. D’Banj’s brother Kay Switch & Sina Rambo were also there.

Our naija stars are balling o…One question though: what was Davido looking for there? At 19 years old isn’t he underage? You have to be 21 to enter a nightclub/strip club in the US. I guess he was on some fake id tings. **Kanya Shrug**

At the recent Nokia Don’t Break the Beat Competition (a talent show to find Nigeria’s next great rapper). Former beauty queen cum rapper Munach Abii  (the presenter) and Modenine (one of the judges) had some choice words for each other.

You see Mode9 arguably the greatest lyricist Nigeria has produced gave his opinion on one of the freestyle battles, Muna (who need I remind you was the show’s presenter and shouldn’t even express her opinion, and let’s not forget has only been rapping for 2minutes) didn’t agree with Mode and took him to task on this, very unprofessional…

As you can see none of the other celebs at the event were impressed with Muna’s video, and she has yet to apologize.

Fresh off her recent signing as 1st lady of Don Jazzy‘s new Label Mavin Records, she has just been reported to have signed a deal with Pepsi Nigeria worth millions of Naira.
