Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Majid Michael & Jim Iyke hit the AMAA 2011 Red Carpet

It was the AMAA 2011 awards this weekend gone past in Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Jim Iyke, Majid Michael were at the event…notably absent were Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde (who is on a promotional tour in the States), Nadia Buari & Jackie Appiah (who were both at the FACE List Awrads in NY this weekend).

Forget oh! I know where all these people be at!

Looking at the pictures from the event no one wowed me…fashion wise…except Jim Iyke...he killed it! Everyone else looked blah. Most of the ladies were in basic black…nothing against black, but please how about stepping outside the box. There are so many fab Nigerian designers who would have gladly lent them their gowns.

Anyways enjoy the pictures after the jump, you’ll probably feel differently about them.

Kate Henshaw-Nuttal…I like the jewelled neckline. The silhouette looks fab on her…cos she has that lean athletic body. Wish I could see more of her shoes though.

Rita Dominic…Nice dress, but I have seen it one million and one times before. Nothing new here…Next.

Chioma Akpotha brought some colour to the red carpet. She was one of my best dressed of the night.

Jim Iyke is looking HAUTE. I love the white tux, the bow tie and the black/white striped shirt…perfection! The guy knows how to wear a suit…I can’t hate.

Majid Michael…I like this suit on him…and it looks really good without a tie. Very good looking man, but am I the only one than thinks there is something off about him? He reminds me of Charlie “Warlock’ Sheen in a weird way (and no…that isn’t a good thing)…but I guess he is #WINNING…LOL

    boring red carpet…are these the only celebrities there.
    Rita Dominic looks terrible, the make up, lace wig and even the dress.
    I love Kate Henshaw’s dress.

    Hmm!! This red carpet really looks drab. The celebrity efizii is not there @ all. Save for Kate Henshaw, the other stars look….would not even go there…..Jim Iyke looks like a waiter to me.

    Hmm!! This red carpet really looks drab. The red carpet glamour is not there @ all. Save for Kate Henshaw, the other stars look….would not even go there…..Jim Iyke looks like a waiter to me.
