You may or may not have heard that comedian AY a few days ago suprised his wife of 4 years, Mabel Makun with a brand spanking new whip for their anniversary. Pictures of the car, a 2012 Acura Crossover were posted by AY on twitter with the caption “Wifey this is my anniversary/Xmas gift to u 4 being a friend, Sister, wife & Mother. I love u.”

No issues right? A husband expressing his love and appreciation for his wife…Sweet & romantic. But no, some Nigerians on twitter were not having his public show of appreciation, as he was inundated with tweets disapproving of the gesture and calling him out as a show off! Causing him to tweet the following “apology”

One should never have to apologize for stuff like this. If you maltreat you wife they will talk, if you spoil your wife its a problem, Its just part of life haters are gon hate. They’ve come a long way as a couple, next time i think he should gift her an island and post the pictures on any the social media network of his choice.
