Just a few days ago on Monday November 10, 2014 a suicide bomber posing as a student walked into a secondary school in Yobe state and blew himself up during the school’s morning assembly.
47 were reportedly killed many of them students, the youngest among the dead was just 11 years old. There were also hundreds seriously injured.
Just a day after the national tragedy President Goodluck Jonathan officially declared he is re-election bid as president. The President who was accompanied by his wife Patience Jonathan made the declaration amidst fanfare and festivities at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Many roads in the capital were shut down by police for security reasons while some residents were stuck in long hours of traffic due to the event.
In the midst of the fanfare many wondered, should President GEJ have postponed his declaration or had a more toned down declaration in light of the Yobe tragedy.
Is President Jonathan truly going ahead with his declaration today; someone should tell me it has been postponed to mourn the dead!

The 47 killed were also buried yesterday
DO YOU THINK GEJ SHOULD HAVE POSTPONED HIS DECLARATION OR HAD A MORE SUBDUED ANNOUNCEMENT?
