Health Minister Warns That Nigeria Could Have An Ebola Outbreak In December

Nigeria was extremely fortunate to beat the Ebola outbreak of July and completely eradicate the disease. But the Nigerian health minister Dr Haliru Alhassan, has now warned that there could be a resurgence of the deadly disease in December during the holiday season!

The Health Minister gave the dire warning on Saturday in Ado Ekiti. Alhassan appealed to all concerned to sustain the leadership role of President Goodluck Jonathan in tackling the deadly disease, said the indefinite strike action embarked upon by JOHESU at a time when many Nigerians would return home from abroad to celebrate Christmas and New Year, could threaten the success achieved.

I thought it was Dr. Adadevoh & her team at First Consultants Hospital that tackled the deadly disease though…um ok!
