We all heard about the 3 Orekoya boys (age: 6 months, 4 years & 11 years) who had been kidnapped by their 23 year old house-help Mary Akinloye from their Surulere, Lagos home on April 8. The nanny had only resumed work the day before she abducted the boys from her employers.

A N15 Million ransom was demanded by the nanny & her cohorts and while the distraught parents were still in the process of raising the money, the police found the kids — yesterday. They had been abandoned by their abductors in the Shasha Area of Lagos State. The kidnappers left them due to the immense pressure generated from news of the kidnapping.

The kids were reportedly found in an uncompleted building in Shasha area of Akowonjo, Lagos on Tuesday night (April 14) after an undisclosed ransom was paid into an account. According to their maternal grandfather, Senior Apostle Abraham Adekunle, the children were found n*ked inside a bag. The children were found alone and ravaged by mosquitoes. The nanny and her cohorts were nowhere to be found. However the Lagos State Police Commissioner of Police, Mr Kayode Aderanti has just confirmed “the nanny” has been arrested!

The children have since been taken to the hospital for observation and have been re-united with their parents.

Thank God!
