Many were hopeful and praying fervently that these were the Chibok girls, who were abducted over a year ago, but according to reports coming in, it’s not the the missing school girls from the Bauchi town. Boko Haram is still holding on to the girls and not letting them go.
A military source who was in Sambisa when the rescue happened told The Associated Press that some of the women rescued Tuesday fought back when they were rescued. The troops managed to subdue them and rounded them all up. The rescued women said they were being forced to fight for Boko Haram, they also said their abductors use them as human shields & as their first line of defense.
