Issa Rae’s “I’m rooting for everyone black” comment at the 2017 Emmy Awards has caused a lot of people to call her racist. See the shocking reactions.

The 2017 Emmy Awards are currently underway in Los Angeles and Insecure actress Issa Rae is one of the nominees for her groundbreaking role in the HBO Comedy.

The actress who stunned in a Vera Wang gown has caused quite a bit of a storm with her comment when interviewed on the red carpet. When asked who she was rooting for to win, the 32 year old actress said,

I’m rooting for everyone black

While her comment has drawn applause from most of her black fan base, white people and some other people of color are butt hurt by her comment calling it racist.
