The slip, and subsequent failure to win the Premier League will have a permanent stain on Gerrard's career but the Reds legend says Liverpool following up last year's sixth European Cup triumph with a Premier League title will be a go a long way as far as helping him find closure.
This season, however, the Reds are in a comfortable position at the top of the table.
Many will point to the fact that the Reds are unbeaten in the league for over a year, which is fair, but my gut feeling is that one or two defeats will come their way, but they will win the title.
