In an otherwise lackluster debate under the looming shadow of President Trump's impeachment trial, Warren, trailing in third place in the Democratic race, made a forceful case for the party nomination, claiming she is the "only person who has beaten an incumbent Republican any time in the last 30 years".
Sanders For President, a subreddit dedicated to supporting Senator Bernie Sanders' 2020 presidential campaign, has become the latest community on the platform to ban all content from news network CNN.
Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders shared a tense moment after Tuesday night's Democratic debate.
Sanders told reporters Thursday in Washington that he and Warren haven't spoken since.
Sanders gently brushes her with his hand, then says, "Let's not do it right now". At the risk of oversimplifying matters, Warren said she and Sanders disagreed in their private chat about whether a woman could win a presidential election. The footage of the interaction, in which Warren rebuffs Sanders' handshake and then begins a short but obviously terse conversation as cameras roll, has attracted tons of attention and prompted speculation-including from us-about what implications it might have for the tenuous Warren/Sanders alliance.
"What I did say that night was that Donald Trump is a sexist, a racist and a liar who would weaponise whatever he could", Sanders said in the statement. Anybody who knows me knows it is incomprehensible that I would think that a woman could not be president of the United States, ' the Vermont senator said in the debate.
"Forget those who are trying to divide us, focus on building the progressive movement & be positive to succeed!" she tweeted, adding the hashtag #MenWomenUnited.
So far, Sanders' and Warren's support remains unchanged among women, with about 15% supporting Sanders and 11% supporting Warren.
Klobuchar and Warren said they planned to vote in favour of the USMCA. "Well, as a matter of fact, I didn't say it".
"You called me a liar". "You told me - all right, let's not do it now".
"Do I believe a woman can win in 2020?"
Sanders didn't mention whether he thought a woman ever should be President. Collectively they have lost 10 elections.
