Singer Waje is riding high on the release of her debut album Words Are Just Enough, which dropped on May 1st.

Last night she shared a picture of herself without a scrap of make up on. I’ve said it time and time again, in this world of unrealistic beauty standards set for women, women are expected to conform to a “certain” look. The body has to be perfect: tiny waist, big ass, big boobs, face of a goddess, long rapunzel hair…it takes a brave woman to say f**k it this is me! Especially when you are in the public eye, insecurities are heightened times a thousand fold

Even me sef that I’m ony just a celebrity in my house (hee hee), there are certain places I won’t go without putting makeup  on. So good going Waje!

Nollywood actresses have found a new trend to jump on. First they were all shaving their heads bald, claiming they got paid tens of millions for it before Charles Novia put them on blast for lying. Now it seems Nollywood actresses have jumped on another trend…Red Hair! BLINDING BRIGHT RED HAIR!

In the past week alone Uche Obodo & Halima Abubakar have embraced the fiery look, Rukky Sanda tried it in the past but quickly ditched it, I guess it didn’t work for her and even Tonto Dikeh has been known to rock a red wig.

To be completely honest apart from Rukky,  the rest of these girls look like clowns. Not everyone can rock red hair like Princess Riri…I’m Just Saying.

The transformative powers of makeup never ceases to amaze me.

Ini Edo attended the premiere of Chioma Akpotha‘s movie On Bended Knee which premiered yesterday in Lagos, And the pictures above are what she looked like before & after her makeup transformation for the premiere. The one on the right is the hair & makeup look she rocked for the red carpet.

The difference is so clear like 7up! This is one of the best looks I’ve seen on Ini.

Ini’s makeup was done by Elaine Shobanjo who is rapper Lynxxx’s older sister.

I might need to call on this chick to hook me up when next I have an event. LOL

A few weeks ago I was invited to a press parley for the official opening of bNatural Medspa in Victoria Island. The Medspa already has 2 branches, one in Abuja and the other in Ikeja, Lagos.

I don’t usually go to press conferences but because this was beauty related (I’m a makeup & beauty products junkie) & I had heard great things about their other 2 branches, I made my way to VI to see what they had to offer.

At the press conference the bNatural team educated us on some of their extensive range of treatments, how it pertains to black skin, sun protection and so much more. I left there with a wealth of information.

This morning the Nollywood star shared this picture of herself in bed, without an ounce of makeup on, and no weave. This isn’t the first time Genny has flaunted her looks without makeup, she did so a few weeks ago (Read HERE if you missed it), what makes this picture different is that she is rocking no weave, NADA!

Just bare face. Smooth, flawless skin.

I bet a lot of her fellow actresses won’t dare bare their face like this cos they will look like scarecrows!
