Does anyone really care at this point?

So a few week ago I told you Port Harcourt based crooner Duncan Mighty bought a Rolls Royce Phantom, then a week later he had denied claims of owning the Phantom, saying instead he rented it for a video shoot (based on an interview he gave to Punch Newspaper).

Well now Mr Mighty is claiming he does indeed own the said Phantom. I don tire.

The stars came out last night at one of the US music industry’s biggest award show’s – The 2011 American Music Awards, which took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. From Nicki Minaj (who looked a bit normal compared to her usual outrageous fashion) to Jennifer Hudson (who is now slimmer than Beyonce) it was fashion galore. Duncan Mighty has gone on record to deny reports he owns the Rolls Royce Phantom which he was photographed posing in/beside/on-top of some weeks back. The photo of him & “his Phantom with personalised license plates”  made it’s way to every blog including this one with the headline ‘Duncan Mighty Acquires Rolls Royce Phantom”

It would appear the joke is on us, as e be like say him borrow the car for video shoot o.

I didn’t tell the media I just bought a car. In fact, I don’t know where they got the news from. I have things bigger than that but I am not like Lagos-based artistes who go about bragging about what they have and what they do not have. My brother, I have been to D’banj’s house but you need to come and see for yourself what I have erected in Port Harcourt.

I don’t live a fake life. I give back to the communities in my state; I give them boreholes, I give scholarships and I motivate youths. I have a construction company where I resume as a worker every morning but you won’t hear me making any noise about my possessions because God has blessed me more than a Rolls Royce.

Wait o! Did he just diss D’Banj?

After 12 years together actress Kate Henshaw Nuttal & her hubby Roderick James Nuttal are calling time on their mariage. The couple who appear to have separated some months back (around the time of Kate’s 40th back in July) are citing “irreconcilable differences”

Kate & Rod both lead very busy lives, which sees both of them travelling within and outside the country for various work commitments quite often, this is said to have been a major factor in the breakdown of the marriage. They have an 11 year old daughter.

They will both be heading to divorce court soon to legally formalise the dissolution of their marriage. In a rare occurence the split is said to be amicable with both parties still being on friendly terms. Very mature, especially when there is a young child involved.

Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher…6 years

Kate & Hubby…12 years. They had a good run.

RIP to their marriage.

If you watched the 2011 Channel O awards last night you will have noticed that despite being honored with a Special Recognition Award,  D’Banj was conspicuously absent from the show, instead his acceptance speech was pre recorded and broadcast during the show. Well it appears the Koko master who was also billed to perform last night didn’t honour his invitation because he was pissed about his flight arrangements, he was booked on an economy class flight you see.
