Wow! Check out Ini Edo showing some major skin in her new promo pics!

The newly appointed United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy has embarked on a major image transformation this year…gone is the extra body weight & tacky clothes…traded for a slimmer, toned body & a more sleek/styled look.

All I can say is…She makes me wanna put in extra time in the gym! She looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. In my opinion this is the best she has ever looked!

Check out Nollywood darling Genevieve Nnaji channelling her innocent side in angelic neutrals. She is rocking 2 completely different looks in similar neutral colours, both events were within the space of 1 week in Lagos, Nigeria.

On the left she rocks a demure maxi dress with long sleeves paired with a gorgeous white belt, pearls & metallic clutch. She wore this to the Austrian Lace meets Nigerian Fashion Event on the 14th May in Lagos, Nigeria. This is so giving me life! Her stylist is on point ( If she works with one)…If not I’m mega impressed.

The 2nd look is a simple white dress  paired with black pumps she wore a couple of days ago to the Goodluck Jonathan Youth lunch. Another banging outfit!

I was so impressed by this incredible ad campaign by Vlisco. It’s their new “Dazzling Graphics” collection. The images are super awesome I can’t fault any of them, the angles, shapes, styling is so structured and edgy. I wish I could just throw own one of these pieces and have a mini runway show in my living room. LOL.

This will be her first fragrance. Asabi is her middle name & means Special Birth in Yoruba, it will retail for N5,000 ($33, £20)

Nike Oshinowo – Soleye is not your stereotypical 45 yr old!

Check out these photos from a recent Ovation Magazine shoot in which she dons pieces by Ituen Basi & Lanvin, with Louboutins & Jimmy Choo on her feet.

The socialite still has the enviably slim figure of someone half her years — and she’s clearly not ready to slip into ‘comfortable’ middle age quite yet. I mean she’s rocking a cropped top…for goodness sakes! I hate her! LOL!

The secret to her trim figure and great skin? A little birdie told me she eats only super healthy organic foods (minimal fat) and you’ll only ever catch her drinking water or green tea. Urgh…green tea is disgusting!

Right now she’s giving me serious body envy…so that green tea may not be such a bad idea.

As for her skin we all know black don’t crack…but I wonder if she’s had any injectable assistance (botox?) #JustAsking

Mrs Obama definitely has love for Duro Olowu, on last count she had been seen in his 6 of his pieces since ’09. And for a woman has the world’s best designers clamouring to dress her that is a lot!

For an appearance on The Oprah Show with husband President Obama, which was taped last week, the FLOTUS rocked a print dress from the designers Fall 2011 collection, paired with orange pumps.

She wears Duro very well.

A few days ago it was announced that Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi made the list of 2011 Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Mallam Sanusi was in full tuxedo mode, trading the boardroom for the red carpet at a Gala in New York on the 26th April, to honour this year’s most influential people. The CBN governor joined the likes of Taylor Swift, Kerry Washington, New York Knicks Carmelo Anthony, Bruno Mars, Nick Cannon, Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively and many more for champagne & hors d’oeuvres.

Swanky! 3 Gbosas for Mallam Sanusi, it’s an honour truly well deserved.

The other 2 Africans on the list Bineta Diop (Founder of Femmes Africa Solidarite) & Wael Ghonim also attended the event.

Inaugural Face of Africa winner Oluchi Onweagba got down to her lingerie in a sizzling shot for Nordstrom’s April 2011 Catalogue. The 30 year old mother of one is fast become a fave of Nordstrom after featuring in their January 2011 catalogue.

In the catalogue she also models spanx…not like she needs it!

If skinny minnies like her are spanxing up (excuse my grammar) what are thickies like me to do? Use industrial strength rubber?! SMH

In related Oluchi news, those who saw her at last month’s Arise fashion week spotted a noticeable baby bump…so I guess congrats are in order as it appears bayby number 2 is on it’s merry way

I dunno about you guys but the first time I spotted Rihanna with her red hair…I thought “What the F?…This girl doesn’t surround herself with people that care about her” and that was the exact thought I had when I saw pictures of Nollywood actress Empress Njamah at the Encomium Black & White Ball, which took place last weekend in Lagos, Nigeria.

But you know what? Rihanna’s hair has grown on me…she’s switched up the styles and her wig seems to have settled of that big ole forehead of hers, she’s pulling it off better now.

I am hoping against hope the same goes for Empress…

Cos from this picture the colour doesn’t look too bad with her skin tone…there’s just a lot going on…with the eyeshadow…the lipstick…the hair style too doesn’t help the colour.
