President Mahama of Ghana

This has got to be the funniest news I’ve heard all day!

According to PUNCH

The Ghanaian President John Mahama made the declaration that Ghana is ready to export electricity to Nigeria and other electrical power deficient West African nations.

He made the disclosure at the Africa Global Business and Economic Forum in Dubai on Wednesday, saying his government had made huge investments in power generation that would enable the country to export excess electricity to Nigeria and others.

We have given priority to electricity generation in our country. We have prioritized energy in such a way that we want to become the hub for power production in West Africa. We want to generate electricity to the point that excess power can be exported to Nigeria, Ivory Coast and other countries that have power deficit, he said.

One of the measures they are taking, is to send medical experts from USA to Nigeria and Senegal because of how both countries have successful contained the spread of the disease.

Up Nigeria!

According to Vanguard, The United States’ Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is highly impressed by how Nigeria contained the deadly disease and they are sending some of their experts to study the methods we used to contain it.
