Krane cited some examples such “Park ,reverse baby pull over” from the Kcee  & Wizkid’s Pull Over, as well as the chorus & melody of Wizkid’s “Baba Nla”.

#OscarsSoWhite What The Internet Had To Say About Not One Black Person Getting Nominated For Oscars 2016

A few hours ago this year’s Oscar Awards nominees were announced and just like last year there wasn’t a single black actor nominated in any of the 20 slots in the four acting categories.

The blatant racism of the Oscar panel is obvious for everyone to see and many people (black & white) took to Twitter to vent about the lack of colour in this year’s nominations.

Interestingly a black woman is the president of the Academy. Cheryl Boone Isaacs has worked to foster more diversity in the Academy but it appears the powers that be won’t let her.
