Spotted: Presenter Denrele rocking Red Hair in new Terry G video

Presenter Denrele vamps it up in bright red hair on the set of Terry G‘s new video, Sangalo, shot yesterday in an unknown mental health facility in Lagos…fitting eh?  Terry G & Denrele in a video together! 2 Mad Hatters…this is defo one to look out for, I hope it doesn’t disappoint!

Love it or hate it, Denrele’s style is all his, and he has a personality to match! You have to respect that he isn’t afraid to express himself…after all that’s what fashion is meant to be. All those chains, buckles, and gloves, though…dude must hold up the line when going through airport security!

This will be Terry G’s first professional commitment since his car accident earlier this month in Lagos. Glad to see he’s back and in good health.

You know there’s more pictures after the jump!

Hot Shots – DEAD PRESIDENT: Headmistresses of State (Fela’s Queens)

Check out these AMAZING (so good I had to write it in caps!) images of Fela’s Queens, not the original queens but American photographer Dexter Jones‘ imaginings of them. He’s just exhibited “DEAD PRESIDENT: Headmistresses of State” featuring reenacted images of the late Afrobeat King Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s wives who he referred to as his Queens (Fela famously married 27 women in one day!) . The exhibit has just finished showing at the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI) in New York.
