Nollywood star Genevieve Nnaji covers the April issue of life style magazine Genevieve.

The first time Genevieve covered Genevieve Magazine, she was wearing blue eyeliner, and her own hair in a prom style bun, it’s clear to see how far the Nollywood diva has come on her latest cover for the same mag,  her style transformation is very evident, she looks every inch the movie star in a gold sparkly dress, wavy tousled hair, a bold red lip & red pumps to finish off the super star look.

There is absolutely no comparison between both covers but which one are you feeling more?

So this is what Genevieve Nnaji looks like when she’s just woken up. Still a fine girl.

Being a celebrity comes with a lot of scrutiny, people pick on every aspect of your appearance, you put on a little weight and you’re called fat, you take a bad picture and you’re called ugly.

So it takes a very brave celebrity, to put her face out there with out an ounce of make up. And that’s what Genevieve did when she posted the picture above on her instagram page a few moments ago.

Well playfully of course You didn’t think these 2 classy ladies actually engaged in a weave pulling fight now did you? LOL

For years these 2 Nollywood top divas Genevieve Nnaij & Omotola Jalade Ekeinde have been pitted against each other in the media. We’ve heard rumours of them not getting along despite starring in a movie Ije together.

Both ladies put all the “beef” rumours to rest as they engaged in a play fight at Saturday’s Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, when they thought no one was looking

While we are on the topic how about we pit these Nollywood divas against each other in the fashion stakes, at the 2013 AMVCA’s both ladies wore 2 striking outfits each.

More red carpet fashion from last night’s 2013 AMVCA, like I said in an earlier post the fashion at the AMCVA was orgasmic, so much of it from Roberto Cavalli to Christian Louboutins, from backless dresses to the the highest slits, the stars came in their best, some not so much.

The inaugural edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards just concluded and the ceremony despite a few hiccups I would say was a fairly successful one. They still have a WHOLE lot to improve on but hopefully with subsequent editions they will perfect the intricate art of putting on an awards show.

The ceremony which went down at the Eko Hotel & Suites tonight was a fashionista’s dream! All manner of fashion, jewellery and hairstyles sashayed across the red carpet and here is your first look at some of them.

So far we have Genevieve Nnaji, Funke Akinde Oloyede, Rita Dominic, Jackie Appiah, Karen Igho, Osas Ighodaro, & a few more Nollywooders

Last night (8th March) a cocktail party for the inaugural edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards went down at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, Nigeria. Some of the Nollywood guests at the soiree were Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Karen Igho, Jackie Appiah, Oge Okoye, Rukky Sanda and loads more.

The fashion was cocktail party chic, although as is expected with these events, some were completely off the mark with their fashion.

I can’t believe the Nollywood film industry as we know it, is 20 years old. To celebrate 20 years of the 3rd fasted growing movie industry in the world after Bollywood and Hollywood, a dinner was held on March 2nd at the State House in Marina, every one who mattered in Nollywood was there (incidentally Omotola Jalade Ekeinde was noticeably absent). Some of those who showed up were Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic, Desmond Elliot, Chika Ike, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo who was boo’d with her Puerto Rican hubby Kenny Rodriguez, RMD, Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim, Sayyuu Dantata (Chairman MRS Petroleum), Kanu Nwakwo, Osita Iheme & many more.
