At the MTV All Stars Party which took place on Saturday 13th April at The Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. Reality star Karen Igho & Soundcity VJ Moet Abebe both showed on the red carpet wearing the exact same top. Both ladies are wearing the American Apparel Micro-Mesh Bodysuit. I have the same top but I haven’t had the courage to wear it…yet. I’m not as brave as these girls, but I digress…

Karen Igho and her silicon triple D’s are is coming to a small screen near you…y’all! Get ready cos the BBA winner will be starring in hit TV soap opera Tinsel alongside the likes of Gideon Okeke, Chris Attoh, Osas Ighodaro and more.

The reality star turned actress announced the news on her twitter page last night.

The inaugural edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards just concluded and the ceremony despite a few hiccups I would say was a fairly successful one. They still have a WHOLE lot to improve on but hopefully with subsequent editions they will perfect the intricate art of putting on an awards show.

The ceremony which went down at the Eko Hotel & Suites tonight was a fashionista’s dream! All manner of fashion, jewellery and hairstyles sashayed across the red carpet and here is your first look at some of them.

Last night (8th March) a cocktail party for the inaugural edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards went down at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, Nigeria. Some of the Nollywood guests at the soiree were Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Karen Igho, Jackie Appiah, Oge Okoye, Rukky Sanda and loads more.

The fashion was cocktail party chic, although as is expected with these events, some were completely off the mark with their fashion.

Karen Igho has 99 problems and being a stripper isn’t one of them. But before we delve into her “stripper” past can we talk about how good she looks in that photo…one of her best photos yet, her face looks softer than usual. Great photography.

So back to the koko of the matter, in a recent interview Karen slammed rumours that she was a stripper in the UK. During her time in the Big Brother Africa house in 2011, stories prevailed that she worked as a stripper in London to make ends meet (let’s be real a lot of women in the west pay their college tuition by stripping) but I digress…Karen didn’t take too kindly to the stripper story and 2 years after the fact she has made a point to clear them up, by saying

I was never a stripper. All through my stay there, I survived in a legit way. I joined the UNICEF and other charity organisations, which had African countries in mind. I was also a sales girl for Karen Millen.

She also talks about breast implants

I genuinely did the implant because I had breast lumps (she had a double mastectomy to get rid of the lumps in her breasts) and two of my sisters have done the same.

Then the issue of her and eccentric media personality Denrele dating came up and she easily put that to rest too. She is NOT dating him, stating

Denrele is my brother and he knows the kind of guys I like.

Please ‘Teefah needs to know though; Denrele is seen out with a lot of chicks, especially Goldie & Karen, who is he dating?
