Happy Monday! How are y’all beating the Monday blues?

As I told you in the Uche Jombo & Hubby Coupled Up post HERE, the premiere for the movie My Life, My Damages went down Friday 1st March at the Ozone Cinemas, Yaba, Lagos. Some of those that graced the carpet were aspiring musician Tonto Dikeh who stars in the movie, Uche Jombo, Rita Dominic, Monalisa Chinda, Rukky Sanda, Muna (rapper/former MBGN), Stephanie Linus Okereke, Desmond Elliot & many more

I’ll be honest no one wowed me on this red carpet, but you might feel differently, let me know.

I was perusing these photos from Actors Guild of Nigeria’s President Ibinabo Fibresima‘s birthday party which went down a few days ago at the Chesney Hotel in Lagos, and Is that a baby bump I spy on Ini Edo? The actress who was rocking a tight red dress could not hide that pregnancy belly if she tried…I guess congrats are in order for Ini & hubby, Phillip. This would be their 1st child.

The 2012 ELOY awards went down Sunday, November 24, 2012 at the Porsche Center, Victoria Island, Lagos. The  Exquisite Ladies of the Year Awards (ELOY) aims to celebrate women in different fields.

At this year’s event were Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Tiwa Savage, Monalisa Chinda, Eva Alordiah, Uru Eke, Ms Jaie and loads more.

Yesterday October 2nd Nollywood star Stephanie Okereke Idahosa turned 32, and to celebrate another blessed year of life, her husband, Linus Idahosa, who she wed in a fairytale Parisian ceremony in August (Read Here If You Missed It) threw her a surprise birthday bash. In attendance were colleagues Ini Edo, Monalisa Chinda and many others.

Here’s what Stephanie had to say about her surprise:

It turned out that a surprise party was arranged, spearheaded by my wonderful husband. It was so beautiful because I wasn’t expecting anything, except a night out with him. So when I saw people arriving with gifts and merriment I was elated. Like everything else that he does, it was perfect! *Thank you, darling*

I am eternally grateful to my loved ones! And like I said at the very beginning of the new month – let’s all keep our minds busy on all that is pure, true, noble, admirable, excellent, lovely, and praiseworthy!

Thank you all for sharing in my joy. Thank you for all your wonderful comments on twitter, facebook, and on this blog. May you find the peace that surpasses all understanding!

Nollywood star & GLO Ambassador Monalisa Chinda showd up at the 4th Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa dressed in an ankara top and black maxi skirt, she finished off the look with a green head wrap, gold accessories and a bold red lip.  A different look for her but I guess her and her stylist Ezinna Chinkata are experimenting with fashion choices.

The event which was organised by the Lumina Foundation went down last week at the Civic Centre in Lagos.
