Yay!!! Serah Luka – Second Abducted Chibok Girl Rescued From Sambisa Forest, Over 2 Years After Boko Haram Kidnap

They are coming home!

Following Tuesday night’s rescue of Amina Ali Nkek, the first of over 200 abducted Chibok girls rescued from the Sambisa  forest two years after they were forcefully taken from their school two years ago, another girl has now been rescued.

Her name is Serah Luka and The Nigerian Army Spokesperson, Colonel Usman Sani Kukasheka confirmed the good news just a few hours ago.

On Tuesday night a missing Chibok school girl was found  deep inside the Sambisa Forest by a vigilante group fighting Boko Haram.

Her name is Amina Ali Nkek and the 19 year old was rescued alongside her 4 month old baby and ‘husband’, who is a Boko Haram terrorist that ‘married’ her after she was abducted by his insurgent group.

Last week the Nigerian Army rescued 275 girls and women from the Boko Haram strong hold of Sambisa Forest. [READ HERE IF YOU MISSED IT]

The traumatised women are currently being kept at a camp for displaced people in Adamawa, the Yola State capital. When met by Daily Times reporter –, the women told horrific tales of r*pe, hunger, beatings & trekking for days in the forest before being rescued last week.

One of the woman, 23 year old Asabe Aliyu a mother of four, with a fifth child on the way, in between vomitting blood told the reporter she was r*ped daily by different men.

Yesterday the Nigerian Army announced they had rescued 200 girls and 93 women from the Sambisa Forest. [READ HERE IF YOU MISSED IT]

Many were hopeful and praying fervently that these were the Chibok girls, who were abducted over a year ago, but according to reports coming in, it’s not the the missing school girls from the Bauchi town. Boko Haram is still holding on to the girls and not letting them go.

The Official Twitter account of the Nigerian Armed Forces has just announce that 200 girls and 93 women were rescued this afternoon [Apr. 28], during a raid of Sambisa Forest by men of the Nigerian Army.

They couldn’t confirm if these were the missing Chibok girls who were abducted over a year ago in Bauchi, giving rise to the #BringBackOurGirls movement. The Army also captured and destroyed 3 terrorist camps during the operation

Yesterday Special Assistant to President Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri shared some pictures on his Twitter page to assure Nigerians that President GEJ’s government is committed to improving our armed forces. The pictures showed soldiers standing next to heavy artillery trucks and one in particular he shared, with the caption “Sambisa Forest is Larger Than Lagos State But Gallant Soldiers are There Defending your Interests
